Front-End Development

January 29, 2023

Front-end development, also known as client-side development, is the process of creating and designing the user interface of a website or web application. It involves using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create a website’s visual layout and functionality and make it responsive to different devices and screen sizes.

Front-end developers are responsible for creating a website’s look, feel, and functionality and ensuring that it is visually appealing and easy to navigate.

They use a variety of tools and techniques to accomplish this, such as:

  • HTML (Hypertext Markup Language): Used to create the basic structure of a web page, including headings, paragraphs, and links.
  • CSS (Cascading Style Sheets): Used to define the visual style of a web page, including colors, fonts, and layouts.
  • JavaScript: Created interactive elements on a web page, such as forms, drop-down menus, and image sliders.
  • JavaScript Frameworks: Provide a pre-built structure to develop web apps such as Angular, React, and Vue.js.

A front-end developer should also have a good understanding of web design principles and user experience (UX) best practices and the ability to test and debug code.
